Ronn Young

Ronn Young is a highly regarded practitioner in the compassion industry who has served over the span of 35 years. Formerly a neuro-psychotherapist and a diplomate in energy psychology and recently retired psychology and sociology professor, Ronn currently serves as clinical counselor at the Medical Trust Clinics. Ronn was the first certified Havening Practitioner in Canada, as well as Canada’s first certified trainer in the Havening Techniques® and CEO & President of the Havening Institute of Canada. In addition, Ronn is a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress. The Havening Institute of Canada equips and establishes therapists, physicians and other practitioners across the nation in the Havening protocols. For more than 20 years, Becky has been studying and practicing diverse healing techniques. A Havening Techniques® Practitioner and Trainer, Reiki Master, NLP practitioner, Timeline Therapy® and HeartMath® practitioner, she is passionate about natural healthcare and is a strong advocate for non-invasive healing. Prior to her certification for Havening Techniques®, Becky achieved an honours certificate in Thanatology (the study of grief and bereavement). For many years she worked with families to help them navigate the difficulty associated with grief and loss, anxiety and trauma. Becky creates a safe and personalized approach that helps her clients to reclaim their lives and restore their peace of mind by revitalizing their self confidence and empowering them to step out into the world again.

Susanne is a Doctor of Ministry candidate specializing in Spiritual Formation. She holds a Master of Divinity in clinical counselling and is a spiritual director, registered psychotherapist, and a critical incident responder. Susanne's clinical interests include anxiety, grief and loss, depression, and trauma. 

Susanne offers counselling from a holistic perspective of mind, body and spirit. She uses an integrative strength-based approach customizing sessions to help clients gain the insight and change that ultimately brings healing. Susanne is certified in EMDR and has completed Sensori-Motor Level 2. Kristi McGraw

Kristi Magraw, Bodymind coach, RMT, author, musician and now certified Havening® practitioner, is known for having developed a unique synthesis of Eastern healing (Five Element theory) and Western ways of working with the mind, called the Magraw Method, which she established in 1979. She is a certified Director of Psychodrama and a Registered Massage Therapist with additional certificates in Reflexology, Shiatsu, Polarity, Cranial Sacral therapy and LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System). A gifted teacher, she has conducted training and supervision groups for over twenty years.

Kristi is also a musician and composer. She has received several songwriting awards, and has had her songs covered by other artists. Her CD “Everybody has the Gift to Heal Themselves” inspires people to trust themselves and their self-healing processes. She is a member of Nashville Songwriters Association International, Songwriters Association of Canada and SOCAN, Canada’s performing rights organization. Margarita is a Registered Social Worker with an MSW degree, and a Certified Havening Practitioner. She uses strength-based approach with the emphasis on trauma and attachment, as well as on neuroplasticity. Throughout her 30 years of experience in the field of mental health, Margarita has worked with youth and adults dealing with developmental wounds, sexual trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, anger, substance use, self-harm, and eating disorders, as well as issues facing LGBTQ2S+ communities, and refugees and immigrants. Michelle is a Registered Psychotherapist serving the Greater Toronto Area. Her approach to therapy is a blend of Transpersonal, Psychodynamic and Humanistic Therapies. Michelle is a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Toronto as well as of the Transformational Arts College of Spiritual and Holistic Training where she now also teaches. She is a senior faculty member in their Spiritual Psychotherapy Training Program and also serves as a clinical supervisor for newer therapists.

Rochelle Sharpe Lohrasbe

Beginning with a career in forensic psychiatric nursing, Dr. Sharpe Lohrasbe has over 30 years of clinical experience in the areas of post-traumatic stress, attachment trauma and developmental wounding. In clinical practice, Rochelle sees children and adults who have experienced abuse, neglect and other traumatic experiences such as vehicle accidents, natural disasters, bullying, and chronic degradation. Rochelle teaches regionally, nationally and internationally as a faculty member at the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. She provides consultation services for clinical cases, educational design and organizational support in Canada and abroad. Rochelle has presented at EMDR and Trauma and Dissociation conferences, including the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. Her approach to mental health and well-being incorporates a keen interest in Integrative Mental Health. Drawing on a strengths-based approach and guided by cross-discipline research in neurobiology, neuropsychoimmunology, philosophy, integrative medicine, psychology and the social sciences, Rochelle works with clients where they are at, guiding a process to help them discover a resilient self and path unique to their strengths and attributes.
